I hope everyone is ready for the summer breeze to roll in, at least I am! The temperature here in Los Angeles is definitely heating up and it is time for beach season.
Before I start posting our wedding photography adventures in the summer, let us kick back one step to Spring at St. Regins Monarch in Dana Point. Karin and Leonard chose this beautiful wedding venue to exchange their vows, love and tie their knot. Karin started off with a lot of hairspray and lots of laughter with her girlfriends in one room, while Leonard and the boys ironed every wrinkle out of their outfits and looked their best. Once everyone was dressed to impress, Karin and Leonard had their first look at St. Regis’ famous staircase with the rest of the wedding party. While Leonard laid eyes on Karin we snapped away in the background and captured so many touching wedding photos. We gave them a few more minutes of privacy before we had to move them along with the rest of the show! With the extra time before the wedding ceremony down at the golf course, the wedding party literally ran around everywhere and had a blast throughout the wedding photography session!
Their following wedding photos during this session below are definitely worth checking out. After everyone gathered their breath and cleaned up a bit, they gracefully walked down the aisle, tied the knot, and sealed with a kiss. Leonard, being a rather wild one, carried Karin down the aisle and ran off with his wife! Then again, their wedding guests enjoyed these unexpected twists and turns.
Time for their reception! Their reception was hosted outside of the main resort in a more private area of the golf course. Speeches were made, hugs were exchanged, and a whole lot of toasting with each guest while Karin and Leonard made their way around the reception hall! Once everyone had their fill of dinner and refreshments, the music was turned on high and they partied all night long! Check out their following wedding photography highlights and enjoy the show! The girls did not want the boys to steal the limelight so in this next wedding photo, the gals charged in their wedding gowns!
After we finished with the wedding part photos, we took Karin and Leonard to the beach for some wedding pictures of just them. Of course Leonard is the type that goes big or nothing at all. He wanted to write their names on the sand and ended up carving up a good size one on the beach!
Leonard’s a man with a plan. The shovels took too long to plant the soil, so he just poured the bucket with style.
They had a couple big balloons laying around the wedding venue, so with a few minutes to spare before their grand entrance, we took them aside once more for a few snap shots to include with the rest of their wedding photo gallery.
Windmills all day, every day!
