It has been a long time coming for these two love birds to tie the knot! Darelene and Ted have shared one epic adventure after another prior to their engagement photography session and now they are prepared to take their chapter to another level. With eight years in the making, these two had a great history together from traveling the globe, let loose at music festivals, and indulge in life in general. Through the highs and lows, Darlene and Ted managed to build their relationship stronger through every experience.
When Darelene and Ted planned their engagement photo session, they wanted photos to express their adventurous side. While we brainstormed through locations, we decided to base our engagement photography session in Joshua Tree, Pasadena, and Los Angeles; a change in scenery with a dash of greens and utter heat in the desert. We started our engagement photo shoot bright and early before we got completely engulfed in the summer heat at Joshua Tree. Either way, we made and adventure out of it while we climbed up and down the massive boulders and trekked across the desert plains. Despite the scratches and scuffs from our short expedition, their engagement photos were memorable and well worth it!
Our Pasadena and Los Angeles locations were more relaxed than our engagement photo session in Joshua Tree, but offered a different backdrop with different outfits! Darelene and Ted outfitted themselves to something more “California casual” and Darlene played with more floral patterns to match the season. We made pit stops at Arlington Park, South Pasadena, and concluded on top of a hill with a grand view of Downtown Los Angeles.
