New York Wedding in Style | Caroline & Eugene

Greetings everyone,

After all these constant entries to update my wedding photography blog, I have finally come around to post this really amazing and intimate wedding that Danny and I photographed in New York. Our previous visit to New York was to photograph Caroline and Eugene’s engagement photo shoot all over New York and Long Island. This time we have come back to photograph Caroline and Eugene’s grand wedding with all their family and friends here back in at a local country club called Glenn Island Harbour Club outside of New York City. Caroline and Eugene’s wedding started bright and early at a local salon. While Caroline had her makeup done, Eugene finalized the measurements for his tuxedo. Eugene looked dapper like a regular James Bond after he was fitted in nice and snug. Throughout each memorable and hilarious event from the salon, we snapped away recording one wedding photo after another. Once everyone from the wedding party were dressed and suited up, we all headed towards Glenn Island Harbour Club to start off their wedding portrait session before the family and friends arrived for the grand wedding ceremony. For the next following wedding photo, Caroline wanted an example of how the next wedding pose should look like. Instead of trying to explain with hand gestures, Eugene and I posed for her to be a better visual idea of what we had in mind. Either way, we both pulled off a sweet wedding photo.

After the wedding ceremony concluded, everyone was escorted to the reception hall for our lovely wedding couple’s grand entrance. After formalities were done, everyone danced the night away!

Congratulations again to the both of you love birds. I always look forward for the next opportunity to visit New York again. It was definitely a pleasure to be your destination wedding photographers.

All Aboard | Lisa & Samir

Good afternoon everyone,

The weather today was unusually warm and welcoming here in sunny Los Angeles. With the sun out and about, I had to make the most of the day…and ran errands. One of the errands involved making passes through Los Angeles and LA Union Station. The next engagement photography session will actually take place where I ran my errands too – Downtown LA Union Station and the Financial District of Los Angeles. It was a sunny afternoon when Danny and I photographed a sweet engagement photo shoot here over at Los Angeles Union Station. The theme was quite simple – fun lovely photos with a bit of spice. After we had our fill with beautiful engagement photos at LA Union Station, we made a quick trip over to the new W Hotel over at the Financial District in the West side of Downtown Los Angeles to conclude our engagement photo session.

Strum Me a Song | Lily & Steve

Good evening everyone,

This year has definitely started off rather quickly. I have already gotten my first ticket from the cops and a week has not even ended! Anyway, I thought it was an interesting side note, so there goes my lunch money for the next month. One a brighter note, I finally got around to post up this next engagement photography session that was rather special to me. These two love birds, Lily and Steve, were hilarious from beginning to end. To start off, Steve was extremely nervous before the engagement photo shoot at our first location at Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), so Lily brought a portable speaker for music…and a bottle of vodka in her purse if he needed to loosen up. Danny and I told them that the engagement photo shoot will be easier than they imagined, so leave the partying until after the photo shoot is over. After 10 minutes of warm up practices, these two were total naturals in front of our camera from beginning to the end of our engagement photo session. We started off from Disney Concert Hall, to various locations in Downtown Los Angeles, and concluded at the pier in Santa Monica. During our photo session in Santa Monica, Steve took our a guitar and serenaded Lily with a few tunes. We fired off a few photos from the distance while they shared the moment together; gave me the warm and fuzzies inside. Downtown LA Engagement Photos | Julianne & Joseph

Hello Los Angeles,

Another fine day here in LA, aside from the sporadic weather with the rain and partial sunshine. On the brighter note, Los Angeles drivers all get free car washes! Today’s feature will be back in our home turf on Downtown Los Angeles with Julianne and Joseph. This lovely couple wanted a quick photo shoot just around LA and the historical 4th St. bridge that will unfortunately be torn down soon due to rust. For those who have not been on that bridge in Los Angeles, I would totally encourage you to visit and snap a few photographs for good memories before it is gone. Double Tree Wedding Photos | Daisy & Israel

Good afternoon Los Angeles!

So my New Year’s resolution is to finally update my long overdue wedding blog entries. To kick start this good habit, I shall introduce this memorable wedding that took place at Double Tree Hotel that overlooked the waterfront in San Pedro…which was photographed almost two years ago; talk about being a bit behind. My lovely couple, Daisy and Israel, were locals here in San Pedro and wanted something convenient and intimate for all their wedding guests. Double Tree Hotel in San Pedro has a nice enclosed outdoor ceremony hall that looks over the docks, which was perfect for any wedding celebration. While the ladies dolled themselves up and enjoyed their afternoon, Geoff and I ran around with Daisy’s wedding details for some photos. Afterward, we took care of the boys and pulled out some snazzy shots of Israel’s entourage.

Once the music started and all the wedding guests were properly seated, Daisy and Israel’s wedding ceremony commenced and Israel’s reaction when Daisy walked down the aisle was priceless. As wedding photographers, I suppose this is one of the more crucial, yet rewarding segments in our profession. The series of wedding photos taken during the wedding ceremony were all so touching and of course it included a few hilarious, yet subtle, gestures from the groomsmen. I suppose boys will always be boys despite any situation and a wedding is no exception to that rule. After the wedding ceremony concluded, we ran around the docks and beach for some wedding part portraits! We tried to wrap the wedding photography session as fast as possible then our love wedding couple can mingle with all the guests that waited patiently for them during cocktail hour. Needless to say, after the grand entrance when the reception hall opened, the rest was history. Laughter, tears of joy, and great company were one of the many expressions and events that took place during that time.
