Traveling Hearts | Allison & Jimmy

There is always a soft spot in my heart when I hear stories of couples’s adventures together and how they have met; sweet stuff that can give you cavities. In this case. Allison and Jimmy have been a pair for about a decade before finally getting hitched. Imagine all the awesome adventures these two have experienced prior to entering the next chapter of their lives. One of their favorite past time is camping and snowboarding. What better way to have a meaningful engagement photography session than to combine the stuff that they like into their photos, right?!

It was a sunny afternoon here in Pasadena where we pitched up Allison and Jimmy’s tent and started firing off some sweet photos! When you see how big their tent is in the engagement photos below, you might ask if it that tent is for a whole family. Answer is no, they like to sprawl out in the mornings and enjoy a little space before waking up in the morning! To each their own, right? We all have our own little luxuries we like to enjoy in life. Once we took plenty of photos with their tent and camping gear, we moved along with some snowboarding related photos!

Sadly, Pasadena or Los Angeles in general has no snow, but that did not stop them from gearing up and getting baked under the heat! During this part of the photo shoot, the trick is to photograph them as quickly as possible before they sweat and pass out!!! That part of the photo session was short, but sweet before we moved onto Old Town Pasadena where they dressed a little more colorful and casual.

We roamed around the streets of Old Town Pasadena to wrap up the photo shoot nicely. Once the engagement photo shoot was finished, we ended everything with a nice sundae and The Pharmacy ice cream parlor near by. Enjoy Allison and Jimmy’s engagement photos below!
