Good afternoon everyone!
Yesterday was definitely a nice dose of how summer in Los Angeles will feel like in the next month. Yesterday was reported to be the hottest day in spring and Danny and I started bright and early for yesterday’s wedding and majority of the events were outdoors! We were glad the wedding party were real troopers and took the heat like champs. Multiple layers of sunblock was applied and my watch tan line became more prominent after the wedding ended. For those who are curious, I might upload a photo of my watch tan one day. For this next wedding that Danny and I photographed, it was another summer and hot wedding day! Fortunately, the breeze from the ocean kept everyone cool throughout the wedding at Los Verdes Gold Course in Palos Verdes. Shani and her gals started at a local salon and pampered away while Frances and his boys were already at Los Verdes Golf Course to finalize some last preparations.
With the extra time before the wedding ceremony, France had his photo session with his boys while Shani had her share of the limelight with her girls in their separate locations. Once the entire wedding party was ready to rock out with their wedding photography session, we nailed some pretty awesome pictures at the driving range and near the wedding ceremony site on the lawn. Just to wrap things up before the wedding ceremony, Shani and France shared some time along together under shelter of the tree’s shade.
As wedding guests arrived one by one, the time drew close to get the show on the road! Shani and Frances walked down the aisle with their entourage and put up a really good show. There were intimate words exchanged and a few tears shed during the wedding ceremony and we captured every moment! Once formalities wrapped up, the entire reception hall became a total party that started with Shani and Frances’ grand entrance with their reenactment of the famous dance scene from “Dirty Dancing.” I must admit that they did a really good job, especially a the last part when Frances had to pick Shani up over his shoulders. To top off the wedding night, an In-N-Out truck came over to serve everyone some amazing midnight snack after a whole night of dancing. Enjoy the show.
