It was an amazing day when my childhood friends, Caty and Wilson, hosted their destination wedding in Caty’s hometown of Modesto, CA! Everyone was there and the photos were insane!

Good evening everyone,

The forecast showed that Santa Ana winds will be blowing into Los Angeles for the next couple days and the first night already caused quite a stir in the city. Aside from trees getting blown down by 80 mph winds, multiple power outages happened in difference sectors of Los Angeles and Pasadena. I hope everyone is safe and comfortable in their homes.

Now back to my next wedding entry! My childhood friends, Catalina and Wilson, hosted their destination wedding at Caty’s hometown of Modesto! Since this was the first of our friends to walk down the aisle, everyone traveled up north to enjoy the festivities! Even though Danny was part of the wedding party, he still wanted to be a wedding photographer! It was an interesting act to follow, but the wedding photos that Danny and I pulled out was well worth the juggle. While I followed Caty in the morning during her makeup session, Danny and the boys horsed around at their hotels and photographed everything along the way. There were a few interesting side notes from this wedding that made it so memorable. There were a few hiccups throughout the wedding, but we all laughed it off. The most memorable event was when we all were in a rush to the reception hall, Wilson’s best man locked the keys in the car and had to call AAA to jimmy the car open. Fortunately, our wedding couple and the rest of the party made it to the grand entrance just in time!

The wedding party had matching colors all the way down to their socks. Black chucks was a nice touch too.

After the wedding was over, our entire group jumped in for a fun picture! I was tempted to photoshop myself into this wedding photo for fun later on. =D

With the spare time, we made a pit stop to a local park for their wedding photography session.

Of course, boys will be boys.

After this wedding picture in the fields, this was when Wilson’s bestman (Phi) locked the keys in the car!

As a nice wedding gift, Wilson’s family invited dragon dancers to kick start the wedding reception after their grand entrance.

As a tradition in our group, for every wedding we took a picture with our ties looped around our heads. Since I was behind the camera the entire day, I just had to jump in this photo!

Congratulations again, Caty and Wilson! You two set the new chapter in our group…I suppose this means we are all getting older, but we can always be children at heart!

It was a cool winter wedding with Tracy and Danny as they tied the knot in Pasadena. Their wedding photographs consisted of intimate wedding ceremonies with both families in Pasadena and Monrovia.

Good evening,

The cold breeze is rolling into Los Angeles, so I hope everyone is bundled up nice and warm. Weather like this reminded me of when Danny and I photographed Tracy and Danny’s wedding in Pasadena. We kick started their wedding at 6 in the morning during winter season in Los Angeles and we were a bit under dressed. Fortunately, there were so many fun events to photograph during their wedding that we did not really think much about the temperature. Although everyone was a bit chilled in the morning, the bridesmaids had plenty of “warm up routines” for the groom and his boys before Danny can receive his bride!

One of the more interesting games that Danny had to play was he had to eat a whole bitter melon to signify that even after their wedding, they can rough out the bitter and sweet times. Either way, it made an AWESOME wedding photo!

The Art of War. I thought it was a neat shot for wedding rings. What do you thing? =P

After Tracy’s traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony, we headed to Danny’s place for the Thai water ceremony.

Good afternoon everyone!

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving went swimmingly and everyone put in some holiday pounds for the winter! First off, I apologize for the long delays on my wedding posts, but I will finally get back on track. To kick start the first wedding blog post, Ezina and Dax finally tied the knot at beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel. While Dax hung out with the boys and watched football, Ezina and her ladies dolled themselves up and enjoyed the morning. Ezina had a particularly interesting custom made wedding dress, which suited the wedding just right. While our love birds prepped up for the big day, Danny and I took some awesome photos of their wedding ceremony site. The wedding site had SO MANY white roses and a cute gate to match.

This wedding was a blend of Jewish and Persian cultures, which complimented quite nicely. There was also a rare instrument that was used during the wedding ceremony that used only the vibration of glass to create music! Without anymore delay, enjoy Ezina and Dax’s fairy tale wedding photographs!

Andrea and Troy’s destination wedding took place at a family cabin along the edge of Lake Tahoe on July 4th. The wedding photos taken from this event were absolutely astounding.

I normally do not have a fear of flying, but the tiny plane that Danny and I took to Lake Tahoe was so small and shook like a salt shaker (borrowed that line from Ying Yang Twins)! After the tiny plane landed safely on the tar mat, we gathered our equipment and took the scenic route to Lake Tahoe for Andrea and Troy’s lovely little wedding. On a side note as we drove to the location of the wedding, since it was a summer wedding, Danny and I looked a bit out of place since we wore dress attire while everyone around us ran around in board shorts and swimming trunks.

One of Troy’s family friends was generous enough lend out his lake house for the wedding. The coolest thing about this lake house was that there were four secret passage ways that will lead to secret rooms! We only managed to find one of the passage ways, but it was still really sweet. Enough going off on different tangents, check out Andrea and Troy’s wonderful Lake Tahoe wedding!

That is one pretty wedding ring!

I dig the hairdo! This boy was the ring bearer. He was dressed in U.S. Airforce attire to compliment the groom and his entourage of fighter pilots.

Aside from Troy, this gentleman was the most interesting man of the night. He had stories after stories about his life adventures. He was actually a good friend of the famous photographer, Ansel Adams! They actually met when Ansel Adams came in to get his taxes done. After that day, they were best of friends.

The sweet thing about this wedding was that it took place on July 3rd, so there was a firework show at midnight! Congratulations, Andrea and Troy!

It was a lovely day when Caroline and Gavin tied the knot at Los Angeles Park Plaza Hotel. Park Plaza Hotel (LA) and all its well preserved decor was such a beautiful place for any wedding!

Caroline and Gavin finally got married! It felt like it was only yesterday when Danny and I photographed their engagement sesison in Pasadena. This lovely couple hosted their wedding at the beautiful Park Plaza Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. It was an intimate wedding filled with a handful of friends and family. The best part of their wedding – Lawry’s Steakhouse catered the entire reception! Well, aside from the lovely wedding, flowers, people, and the excitement; the food was runner up. I now present, Caroline and Gavin’s wedding.

Anyone know what these statues represent? It looks like they are holding up light sabers! Yes, I like Star Wars.

It was always a touching moment to watch the parents walk a daughter down the aisle during the wedding.

This has to be one of the coolest moments ever!!! Caroline’s father and Gavin actually have their own secret handshake. They showed off their moves in front of everyone at the wedding before Caroline was handed over to Gavin.
