Michelle and Chirag hosted their wedding at Laguna Cliffs located at Dana Point. This was a fusion of Indian and Asian traditions and the outcome was spectacular.

Hello everyone,

Lawrence had the opportunity to photograph Michelle and Chirag’s wedding at the beautiful Laguna Cliffs Marriott Hotel in Dana Point, CA. The pictures taken from this Indian ceremony were absolutely amazing. Indian ceremonies are one of my absolute favorite due to its use of colorful and intricate designs on their clothing. Without further ado, I present Lawrence’s artistic perspective of how he captured this beautiful wedding.

You can dance anywhere, even on the street! The entire wedding party danced away like no one was watching. It was such a joyous sight to see!

After the wedding, Lawrence took the boys aside to take some portraits. As you can tell from the following photographs, Lawrence is not your typical wedding photographer!

Disneyland always holds a special place in my heart. Disney lives up to the name, The Happiest Place on Earth, due to its attractions and its beloved childhood characters! Christy and Mike shared the same perspective as me and had their engagement photo session taken place here. Luckily, we all had season passes to enter Disney again and AGAIN! I suggest everyone to get a pass because Disneyland is seriously not a place where you can experience everything in one day. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the pictures from our adventure. ^_^

Although this place is reserved only for Disney employees, they were gracious enough to lend this section for our engagement pictures. These blue stairs went in all directions, which made this photo extraordinarily weird…yet so cool at the same time!

Out of all the rides and attractions offered at Disneyland, my stomach hated the teacups the most…

Sudhir and Kim finally tied the knot at Cerritos Library! It was my first time to photograph a wedding in a Library, but it was so fun! Of course we kept our library voices at all times to respect other patrons outside of the wedding.

For those who do not remember Sudhir and Kim, I photographed their engagement session last spring at Los Angeles Union Station. Sudhir and Kim hosted their wedding at Cerritos Library, so that means library voices were strictly enforced when we ran around the different corridors the library had to offer. Despite the constant glares of curiosity from people who studied at the library, my newly weds kept their composure and enjoyed their day and gave their audience a show during our portrait session. I now introduce to you – Sudhir and Kim!

There was a blend of two cultures for this wedding. A Cambodian wedding ceremony was held early in the morning to compliment Sudhir’s culture and a traditional Western ceremony was performed afterward for Kim. This was actually my first time photographing a Cambodian wedding. There were four different performances; each bearing its own significance.

Susana and Lydell chose Hollywood as their hotspot to photograph their engagement session. We climbed up rooftops and ran into different landmarks for their engagement photos! It was definitely a fun day during their engagement photography session.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the SUPER LONG delay since my last blog post. My couples were itching to see their wedding photographs on my blog, which means that it is time to stop slacking off. I will try to keep everyone up-to-date from now on. My first post will feature Susana and Lydell. This couple wanted their engagement photo session to take place in Hollywood, CA! The city was filled with lively attractions and performers, which paired up well with Susana and Lydell’s personalities. Although there are plenty of tourist spots for pictures in Hollywood, we took the road less taken. We traveled behind the streets of Hollywood Blvd. to capture these beautiful and fun engagement pictures. Enjoy!

Our first pit stop was the historical landmark in Hollywood – The Magic Castle. Since The Magic Castle opens only for dinner, we were able to utilize this beautiful Victorian home for our engagement pictures!

After our photo shoot at The Magic Castle, we trekked back down the hill to Hollywood Blvd. Our next stop was Roosevelt Hotel. Here is a tip about photographing an engagement session in Roosevelt Hotel – Do not use flash and watch out for the employees! I learned my lesson and was escorted out, but the risk was worth it for the following photos! ^_^

Although we ran into the authorities, we did not let that small hiccup spoil our mood for the rest of our engagement session. We concluded everything on the streets of Hollywood Blvd.

Throughout the entire photo shoot, Susana and Lydell were amazing to work with! They will be hosting their wedding at Black Gold Golf Course at Yorba Linda next spring!

Cheers,
