Aileen and Greg chose their engagement photography session to take place at Disney Concert Hall and LA Union Station located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles! They wanted a vintage 20’s theme and their outfits and poses paired up perfectly! They even brought a nice red chair as a prop in their engagement photos.

When I first met Aileen and Greg, we clicked instantly! Their personalities and positive energy filled my studio during our meeting. Aileen has a tendency of singing whenever she gets excited. Apparently, she was excited throughout our meeting, as well as, our engagement photo shoot in Downtown Los Angeles. Who needed a radio when my bride sang then entire time! Aileen and Greg really wanted photographs that synced with the “Roaring 20’s” theme. We started out day at Disney Concert Hall, then wrapped everything up at Los Angeles Union Station. Check out their following engagement photos and let me know if they pulled it off!

Disney Concert Hall

The beautifully crafted red chair in the following photographs was Greg’s anniversary gift to Aileen. How cute is that?!

Normally, photos are taken on the polished side of Disney Concert Hall. We wanted to spice things up, so we also used the backside of the walls where all the foundation poles and metal nets were shown. I thought this added more character in this photo, especially for their theme!

Los Angeles Union Station
800 N. Alameda Street
Los Angeles, CA

Aileen thought it was appropriate to change into a more elegant and simpler outfit to match LA Union Station. =)

…I am always a sucker for bird cage veils.

This was my favorite engagement photo of the day! The sun barely crept through the large glass windows and provided a more dramatic picture for us!

…aww, and one final kiss to conclude our engagement session.

I hope everyone enjoyed these photos as much as I did. Thank you again Greg for the chair and Aileen for the beautiful songs! I will have their wedding photos from Huntington Hyatt posted up shortly.

Cheers,

Since Chris was a fighter pilot for the U.S. Airforce, Arla and Chris though it was fitting for their engagement photography session to take place at March Air Field in Riverside. I always love engagement photo sessions with an edgy theme!

Hello everyone,

Sorry, I have not been blogging about any of my recent engagement and wedding photography sessions for a while. Now that WPPI 2009 is over, I can concentrate on updating this wedding blog. Arla and Chris were referred to us from our previous wedding couple, Cheston and Angie. This engagement photography session took place at March Air Field (Riverside). For those who would like to photograph their engagement session there, the address is as follows:

March Air Field
22550 Van Buren Blvd.
Riverside, CA. 92518

March Airfield provided plenty of vintage planes to make these engagement photographs very unique!

We utilized the chromed plane for the next few engagement photos. This was my favorite plane to use for this engagement session!

There is something about metal and cannons that make engagement photographs so attractive. =D

Many thanks to Arla and Chris for introducing this location to us. We will definitely use this for our future engagement photos! Arla and Chris’ destination wedding next month will take place up north in San Jose. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding!

Over and out,
