Got a Light? | Private Lighting Workshop
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009Hello readers,
If you arrived on this post, then you have been invited to a private workshop hosted at Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel in Orange County (OC). I got an Ocean View Luxurious Suite for two nights and was entertained with the idea of hosting a lighting workshop. I have been talking about it forever on Tofurious, but never had time to follow through.
Fortunately, Lan Bui, Vu Bui (The Bui Brothers) and Doug (Furious Photographers) were all free to help!
It’s going to be quite interesting to have four lighting experts with potentially separate opinions for “good lighting.”

I am not going to tell you how much I actually paid for the room for it will send another series of pangs to my heart/wallet, but it’s over $3,000. We have a super nice location, so might as well make the most of it, right? Workshop.

Cost: $50 – uh yeah, no brainer – I assure you that there will be no workshop at this price especially from industry leaders teaching it. Or I challenge someone to do so!
$50 | First Come First Served | Limited Seats
I pay $3000 for room, you pay $50 = good deal.
The fee is only to pay for model, makeup, clothes, etc. I will pay for the room, so that’s one less thing to worry about. The goal is to get this lighting project started. Limited seats!
Cheers,
Lawrence
P.S. We might have an after party, so yeah…not all will get to stay – based on number of registrant.
