Back to Summit House | Darlene & Justin

May 2, 2012

Hello everyone!

The weather here in Los Angeles is still rather temperamental. We are transitioning from Spring to Summer and Los Angeles still gets a few random moments of rain out of nowhere! Unfortunately, the rain does not last long enough to fully clean my car!

Darlene and Justin’s wedding in Orange County last year fortunately had a more pleasant weather with the sun and beautiful blue skies. To refresh everyone’s memories, Darlene and Justin had their engagement photo session done at good ol’ Pasadena City Hall and Old Town Pasadena. It was a rather fun day thinking back on their engagement photo session in Pasadena. The most memorable for me about that engagement session were their smiles. Their smiles can light up anyone’s mood and they lit up the crowd during their wedding. Darlene and Justin started their wedding bright and early at Hyatt Regency in Orange County where they each hung out with their designated wedding parties. Of course, Darlene and her wedding party took the suite while Justin and his boys had to take a smaller room. During their preparations, Darlene emphasized on having a nice photograph of her proud Christian Louboutin wedding shoes (Check out that photo below)! Once the entire wedding party was dressed to their best, we all made our way to St. Denis Church to get these two love birds married!

After the wedding ceremony and all the formalities out of the way, everyone enjoyed the night away over at Summit House located in Fullerton (Orange County). The details from the centerpieces to the little wedding party favors were absolutely perfect. One of the more hilarious memories of the night was that Darlene’s father has a reputation of talking forever. The time allocated for her father’s speech was only 5 minutes, which was used up quite quickly without any signs of her father concluding his blessings to the newly weds. Although this pushed back the wedding itinerary but a few stops, but every moment was well worth it. The smiles and laughter that Darlene’s father gave from his speech were so “perfect picture” quality! After everything that was needed to be said, the dance floor opened up and the rest of the wedding went down in history. I must admit, some of these people’s dance moves at the wedding were too much for my conservative eyes, but made amazing wedding photos to laugh over in the future!

All I can saw for the following wedding picture was “HOLY COW!” Apparently, she has done this before and flipped around with ease and struck a pose for the camera afterward.
