Good morning!
Mother’s Day arrived and I hope everyone has something special planned! If nothing, I bet your mum will love just a great big hug from her kids.
It has been a while since May and Adam’s beautiful wedding at Shade Hotel and Wayfarers Chapel and I still remember it like it was yesterday. If you two are reading this wedding blog, Mary and Adam, I am so sorry for the delay! I am still playing catch up on all my wedding and engagement blogs. To kick start the story about these love birds, Mary and all her girls laughed away when they got ready while Adam and his boys already popped opened the champagne and made themselves a few rounds of mimosas. While the boys waited for all the ladies to get ready, we started the wedding photo session with Adam and his entourage around Shade Hotel. The coolest part about taking these boys’ wedding photos were that Adam gave each of his boys matching Gucci shades and tie bars to look uniformed. Check out the wedding pictures below for some of their sweet shots!
While the boys horsed around Shade Hotel, we spent a little more time with Mary and her gals. Danny, Wilson, and I tried to be extra creative with Mary’s wedding details and revolve it around apples since they are not only from the Big Apple, but also associates at good ol’ Apple corporation. Luckily, a wedding guest dropped off a whole fruit basket and it was filled with apples for us to use for our next wedding photos below. To top things off after we photographed Mary’s beautiful Louboutin’s on a basket-full of apples, we hung Mary’s amazing wedding dress over the ledge for one of our wedding detail photos. It was risky business, but so worth it!
After all the preparations were done from both wedding parties, we all caravan over to Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes to get these two love birds married! With the extra time while Wayfarers Chapel prepared for the wedding, Mary and Adam had their “first glance” on top of the hill in one of the gardens. Adam’s reaction to his beautiful bride was priceless! We managed to crank out a handful of sweet wedding photographs of just Mary and Adam before Wayfarers Chapel announced the wedding commencement. Enjoy the show.

After the wedding ceremony concluded at Wayfarers Chapel and all the hugs and kiss from the family members finished, the wedding party sped over to Abalone Cove for a quick wedding photography session before we all headed back to Shade Hotel for their wedding reception.
The parasols definitely added a nice touch to the follow wedding picture…and also provided shade for the extreme summer heat!
During cocktail hour and before Shade Hotel opened up the courtyard for Mary and Adam’s wedding guests, we hurried and took some sweet detail photos! The dessert bar was definitely a very nice added bonus for anyone who had a sweet tooth at the wedding. The wedding cake had a nice touch with the intricate details and a huge Apple Corp. logo on top!
Mary and Adam made one heck of a grand entrance, danced, and worked up a sweat with all their wedding guests before they were all seated. I suppose this was a good way to work up an appetite before dinner!
During dinner, each of Mary and Adam’s loved ones made a very touching speech.
A few more quick photos with Adam and the boys to conclude the wedding before they jumped back in Shade Hotel and dance the night away!
…just had to add the team in. =D
Thank you!
Congratulations again to the both of you. It was a pleasure to be your wedding photographers here at Shade Hotel (Manhattan Beach). As promised, I will make my way to New York and hang out with you two party animals!
Special thanks to to Lindsay Longrace for always delivering nothing short of the best for coordinating this memorable wedding.
