Good evening everyone,
The forecast showed that Santa Ana winds will be blowing into Los Angeles for the next couple days and the first night already caused quite a stir in the city. Aside from trees getting blown down by 80 mph winds, multiple power outages happened in difference sectors of Los Angeles and Pasadena. I hope everyone is safe and comfortable in their homes.
Now back to my next wedding entry! My childhood friends, Catalina and Wilson, hosted their destination wedding at Caty’s hometown of Modesto! Since this was the first of our friends to walk down the aisle, everyone traveled up north to enjoy the festivities! Even though Danny was part of the wedding party, he still wanted to be a wedding photographer! It was an interesting act to follow, but the wedding photos that Danny and I pulled out was well worth the juggle. While I followed Caty in the morning during her makeup session, Danny and the boys horsed around at their hotels and photographed everything along the way. There were a few interesting side notes from this wedding that made it so memorable. There were a few hiccups throughout the wedding, but we all laughed it off. The most memorable event was when we all were in a rush to the reception hall, Wilson’s best man locked the keys in the car and had to call AAA to jimmy the car open. Fortunately, our wedding couple and the rest of the party made it to the grand entrance just in time!
The wedding party had matching colors all the way down to their socks. Black chucks was a nice touch too.
No gang signs please
After the wedding was over, our entire group jumped in for a fun picture! I was tempted to photoshop myself into this wedding photo for fun later on. =D
With the spare time, we made a pit stop to a local park for their wedding photography session.
Of course, boys will be boys.
After this wedding picture in the fields, this was when Wilson’s bestman (Phi) locked the keys in the car!
As a nice wedding gift, Wilson’s family invited dragon dancers to kick start the wedding reception after their grand entrance.
Little kid is going to hate me in the future, but this picture was too good to pass up.
Danny and the boys’ own impression to poke fun of that poor kid.
As a tradition in our group, for every wedding we took a picture with our ties looped around our heads. Since I was behind the camera the entire day, I just had to jump in this photo!
One last photo of the crew before the wedding concluded.
Congratulations again, Caty and Wilson! You two set the new chapter in our group…I suppose this means we are all getting older, but we can always be children at heart!
Cheers,
