Sue and Armando’s destination wedding took Furious Photographers to Cancun! The water was as blue as the sky and was complimented with the constant warm breeze. The wedding was hosted at J.W. Marriott.

It has been a year since my last wedding in Cancun with Tiffany and Ly when I came back again to photograph Sue and Armando’s wedding! The warm breeze and the turquoise colored ocean is a perfect setting for any event. I met Sue and Armando for the first time in Orange County and our chemistry worked out swimmingly. During our conversation, they mentioned that they always wanted a destination wedding and Cancun was on the top of their list. This happy couple, joined with 26 of their closest family and friends, all flew out to celebrate this joyous occasion. Enjoy!

Sue had everything packed for this wedding trip except her garter! Fortunately, Armando’s mother improvised and made one on the spot. I had to admit, she did a pretty nifty job making one on the fly.

I hope everyone enjoyed the gallery as much as we enjoyed their wedding. Congratulations again, Sue and Armando!

After the wedding, Danny and I took a trip around Cancun to check out the Mayan ruins. Just like any tourist, we had to take a photo in front of some monument. As for this one, it is one of the most famous Mayan temples in Cancun. As crazy as it sounds, the temple is also an extremely accurate calendar and much more!

Pamela and Tim’s wedding along the Golf Course in Santa Monica was so mellow and relaxing. There were plenty of smiles from family and friends to light up the night. It was a great opportunity as their wedding photographer to capture all these great memories.

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Santa Monica where Pamela and Tim decided to host their wedding. For all those who live in Los Angeles, a beautiful afternoon in Santa Monica does not only relate to the weather, but it also means no traffic on 10 and 405 freeway!!! Throughout the entire wedding, there were so many different cultures that were contributed to this beautiful event. I personally have to say that the best addition were the live mariachi bands that played throughout the entire reception. I am such a sucker for live bands, so this might be a bias opinion. =)

Pamela and Tim started their wedding with their preparation at Hotel Angelino. Since they dressed up at the same location and were not to see each other until the ceremony, I was quite entertained as I watched their entourage patrol the hallways and elevators. Get comfortable everyone, this is going to be a long wedding blog. There were too many fun filled photos that I cannot omit!

Pamela and Tim provided each member of the wedding party an “emergency wedding box,” which consisted of the following items:

- Tylenol
- Water
- Redbull (gives you wings!)
- Double Mint chewing gum
- Cheetos

Aileen and Greg finally tied the knot at Huntington Hyatt! It was such a great opportunity to be their wedding photographers since they were not only such a fun couple, but their wedding venue was breathtaking! Their Winter themed wedding had a matching wedding cake and it was to die for!

It sure has been a while since I have posted my last adventure as a wedding photographer. I apologize for the delays, but I will make it up with some pretty pictures! As for my first post, this wedding took place during the end of December of last year. Yes, I have not blogged any weddings for that long. Of course my couples all received their wedding albums, so do not worry! I just prefer to take my time writing something thoughtful about each event. =)

It was a beautiful winter day when Aileen and Gregory finally tied the knot at Huntington Hyatt. Danny and I started our day with Aileen’s bridal preparations. During our stay in her suite, she provided everyone with music by singing at the top of her lungs. For those who have not read the blog about their engagement session, Aileen will sing lively chords whenever she is excited and happy. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you my singing bride and groom!

Brides always and should get extra perks for their weddings. In this case, Aileen got a classy Rolls Royce with a chauffeur. Poor Gregory had to drive himself. Who said that chivalry is dead? I beg to differ. ^_^

It is always a touching moment of the wedding ceremony when a mom escorts her daughter down the aisle.

Fortunately, the weather was to our favor, especially during the winter. Throughout the wedding ceremony, the sun and ocean provided a warm breeze for all the wedding guests.

At last, the kiss that sealed the deal!

During cocktail hour, Aileen and Gregory let their guests mingle while we went off to take some portraits. As you can tell from the next photograph, they were faster runners than Danny and me.

Check out that wedding cake! This cake matched the theme and season perfectly. This beautiful cake was not only for aesthetics…it was so delicious! Gregory knew that I love wedding cakes, so he let me have the first choice of slices. The top tier was carrot cake, middle was red velvet, and the base was chocolate.

After the formalities were out of the way, Aileen threw on the red chucks to get the party started!

Rennie and Adam’s destination wedding took place in Big Sur at Post Ranch Inn. Their intimate wedding consisted of family and the closest of friends. The amazing thing about this wedding was that everyone at the wedding party had their own tree house! Check out their wedding photos to see!

Whenever I think about road trips, I reminisce about the road trip of 2004. I drove from Atlantic City, NJ to Los Angles, CA in 42 hours. Throughout our quick tour across the nation, we battled the following elements: hurricane (Ohio), tornado (Texas), thunder storm (Texas), and a flash flood (Arizona). We flew across America mainly to be on time for our first day of college! Yes, I take education very seriously. As for this time, my road trip had a different form of excitement. Danny and I took a trip up California to photograph Rennie and Adam’s wedding at Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur.

Rennie and Adam hosted a very intimate Jewish wedding in a forest, which also had a spectacular view that overlooked the cliffs and to the calm Pacific Ocean. The wedding was filled with life and music. A couple close friends dedicated their songs to the happy couple during the ceremony. Despite all the thorns that got stuck in my legs when we trekked through the forest, the pleasure to photograph this wedding was worth the pain.

Tiffany and Ly decided on Tulum, Mexico for their “trash the dress” photo session. The blue skies and water paired up perfectly for their photo shoot! Aside from dealing with sunburn after the photo shoot, the pictures were well worth it!

Hello everyone,

Tiffany and Ly’s trash the dress session took place at Tulum (Cancun, Mexico)! We found out that we needed permits to photograph in the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, of which we did not prepare for, so we took a stroll to a local beach. We did not know that our trek to the next beach would take 45 minutes, but it turned out for the better.

When we got to the beach, Lan and Vu Bui thought of a creative idea to rent a couple boats to ride across the ocean to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. Although we could not go on shore, we took some amazing photographs with the ruins in the background!

This photograph from Lawrence on the other boat reminded me of the Dos Equis’ Most Interesting Man in the World. “I do not usually drink beer, but when I do, I prefer a Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends.”

Here is another perspective when I rode on the same boat as Tiffany and Ly. Check out Cancun’s blue water! The water did not even look real!

This was one of the photographs of the day. This image is simple, yet so elegant.

Afterward, we turned up the heat and started to strobe almost every shot. Kevin and Lawrence assisted me in the lighting throughout the shoot and the outcome was phenomenal.

During our trash the dress photo shoot, we encountered a group of tourists who thought Tiffany and Ly were actual models. Instead of having the tourists stand on the sidelines, we invited them to take part in this next photograph!

Of course, we had to dip our feet in the water. The water was SO warm!

I hope you all enjoyed Tiffany and Ly’s trash the dress session!
