Horizon Hunters | Swimming Upstream

Life is short, so chase the horizon for your next adventure. A few years ago, Jason and I decided to do something completely out of our normal routine to mark the start of a different lifestyle. To start off in our adventure, we called it Horizon Hunters since we literally chased the horizon almost every day and night for a week and half. Our goal was to wake up every morning with a different scenery as we enjoy a hot cup of coffee before our day started. We accomplished that goal everyday before our last stop in Bishop where we met the rest of our crew. I must admit, this road trip offered an alternative perspective in life. Enough about the “deep in thought” malarkey, time for our adventure! Buckle up people, this is going to be a really long post.

Jet Setters | Yanni & Justin

If there is an achievement unlock for jet setters, I think this couple may have gotten it! Yanni and Justin are a cute pair that dated long distance for some time before settling in together in Santa Barbara, then eventually to Los Angeles. During their time physically apart, Yanni worked in law overseas in Hong Kong while Justin stayed in Santa Barbara during his residency at a hospital. Despite being separated by the Pacific, they kept their fire strong throughout their journey before they took their relationship to the next chapter!

California in the recent weeks had a fair share of rain. I hope everyone managed to get around safely during the storms. Rain during this season reminded me of a wedding we had photographed a couple years ago with almost the same scenario.

This upcoming wedding post held a special place in my heart. The man of that hour, William, has ventured off with me in almost all my crazy ideas since we were kids and what an adventure we had! He was there for all the good times and never hesitated to be there during the times that mattered most. For a man like him, he deserved only the best. In this case, he ended up with Elise – the best and the weirdest. All their similarities and differences complimented each other rather nicely. In other words, their lives were various puzzle pieces that fit together to present itself as something beautiful.

Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Let us welcome the year of the rooster.

For my next post, if you are reading this Tammy, sorry for these late postings; I swear that I am catching up as quickly as possible!

It was a beautiful fall season as the autumn colors painted the trees in beautiful SoCal where one of my favorite pairs, Tammy and Thomas, enjoyed our next adventure at Descanso Gardens. We found amazing backgrounds for photos with each twist, turn, and bend during our trek down the trails. From what I recall, it was either before or right after Halloween so there were pumpkins ALL over the gardens. Either way, it added a little extra character during our photo shoot. Summer is just around the corner here in Los Angeles and thing are heating up just nicely. I hope everyone has amazing plans and places to see for this coming season! For our next wedding, these two love birds have a heart for exploration and are always out and about planning for their next adventure. Allison and Jimmy have been joined to the hip for about a decade before they leaped into their next milestone adventure with a wedding to make things official.
