Hollywood VIP | Brittany & Jeff

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Greetings,

Strap your seat belts on girls and boys, we have some really cool images for you all! We have returned once again to Yamashiro since Rachel and Ken’s wedding. Brittany and Jeff hosted their wedding at Yamashiro to match their Asian themed wedding. Although Brittany wore an elegant white wedding dress, all her bridesmaids wore traditional Japanese dresses.

The ladies started their morning at Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood, while the strapping young men got an old fashion shave at Sweeny Todd’s.

Stretch Out in the Flower Patch | Sudhir & Kim

Monday, April 20th, 2009

All aboard!

For those who are interested in historical landmarks in Los Angeles, our union station is the perfect place to visit.  Los Angeles Union Station was built in 1939 as a hub for people to travel all over California by railroad and it still serves that purpose today. Although Los Angeles Union Station underwent many upgrades, the amazing architecture and designs inside this station still remain untouched. Sudhir and Kim chose Los Angeles Union Station for their engagement photo session for this reason. Enjoy!

Behind them is an enormous hall where ticket operators used to work, but it now serves as a grand ballroom for weddings and events! For those who want something different for their wedding, I would recommend this venue without reserve. For a better view of the ballroom, check out this link: Union Station.

After Los Angeles Union Station, we strolled across the street to the rooftop of their apartment to photograph this image with Downtown Los Angeles in the background!

Of course we need some greens in their engagement session =)

MOCA…or Mocha? | Caryn & Hernan

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Hello everyone,

This engagement photo shoot took place in my home turf at Downtown Los Angeles!  Caryn is one of Julie’s (Furious Photographer) cousins so this engagement photo shoot was extra special to us.  We started at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) and concluded at Disney Concert Hall across the street.  The cool thing about photographing in Downtown Los Angeles is almost everywhere is walking distance.  Overall, these two were a fun bunch.  Enjoy the photos!

After photographing here many times, I still do not know what that pile of metal in the back represents.

These two locations are amazing places to take wedding or engagement photographs.  MOCA and Disney Concert Hall are opened to the public to take pictures, just respect their property, so make the most of it photographers! I look forward to Caryn and Hernan’s wedding!

Along the Yellow Brick Road | Nancy & Michael

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Howdy partners,

Today’s adventure took us to Abalone Cove for Nancy and Michael’s engagement photo session. The day was absolutely amazing – the sky was blue and grass was green! This engagement photo shoot was a bit different compared to our previous sessions. We tried using remote lighting for most of our pictures to absorb as much color as we can. As you look through the following pictures from Abalone Cove, you will notice how energetic these two were the entire time! Check it out!

The scenery from Abalone Cove reminds me of the scenes of Wizard of Oz when Dorothy skipped along the yellow brick road with her cronies. Do not ask why…it just does! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed these photos from Abalone Cove. Nancy, Michael, and I enjoyed a nice bowl of ramen in Little Tokyo (South of Downtown Los Angeles) afterward. I cannot wait for their wedding at Pacific Palms Resort!!! ^_^

Peace,

Freestyle Rankin Ruff | Bryn & Joman

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Hello!

Time sure flew by since Bryn and Joman’s engagement photo session at Universal City Walk in Universal Studios. Now Bryn and Joman tied the knot at Cathedral of our Ladies of Angels in Los Angeles! It was such a beautiful and festive wedding. Everything about their wedding was perfect! Instead of talking about it, I will let their wedding photos tell the rest of their story. =)

While I accompanied Joman, Danny and Kevin took care of Bryn and her bridal party. This was my favorite detail shot of the day!

A sweet ride escorted Bryn to the Cathedral of our Ladies of Angels where Joman patiently waited for her

Even on Joman’s wedding day, he would not change that wallet.

These two took me by surprise the entire night from starting off with an amazing first dance to Joman Reggae freestyling for his guests!
