In this Fleeting Moment | Vivian & Ryan

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Hello!

I have to admit, Laguna Beach is my favorite beach! Laguna Beach has many amazing art galleries – private and public. Vivian and Ryan started at Downtown Laguna Beach then to the beach itself later on.

Laguna Beach
Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Laguna Canyon Road

We started our engagement photo session between Forest and PCH. Since the restaurant that we started our session was not open at the time, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves!

Afterwards, our engagement session took place on the actual street! Of course, no one got hurt during this process.

Even though I have been to Laguna Beach numerous times, this was my first time seeing this red phone booth!

I love the passage engraved onto this railing:

In this Fleeting Moment
What extravagant respite
As booming surf speaks its
Mystical passage across
The undreamed depths.

After our photo session at Laguna Beach ended, we started our cars and headed towards Crystal Cove. Crystal Cove is a beautiful secluded section of the beach with small cottages where people can actually rent as beach homes.

…of course we need to get the sign. =P

Vivian and Ryan were a great sport throughout the entire engagement session. I hope you all enjoy these pictures. I cannot wait for their wedding!

Dogfighters of WWll | Arla & Chris

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Hello everyone,

Sorry, I have not been blogging about any of my recent engagement and wedding photography sessions for a while. Now that WPPI 2009 is over, I can concentrate on updating this wedding blog. Arla and Chris were referred to us from our previous wedding couple, Cheston and Angie. This engagement photography session took place at March Air Field (Riverside). For those who would like to photograph their engagement session there, the address is as follows:

March Air Field
22550 Van Buren Blvd.
Riverside, CA. 92518

March Airfield provided plenty of vintage planes to make these engagement photographs very unique!

We utilized the chromed plane for the next few engagement photos. This was my favorite plane to use for this engagement session!

There is something about metal and cannons that make engagement photographs so attractive. =D

Many thanks to Arla and Chris for introducing this location to us. We will definitely use this for our future engagement photos! Arla and Chris’ destination wedding next month will take place up north in San Jose. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding!

Over and out,

Return of the 67′ Bug | Claudia & Alex

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Ahoy there,

Claudia and Alex finally tied the knot at Ebell Club in Long Beach! I always love photographing weddings at Ebell Club. Ebell Club’s location, interior design, food, and service is absolutely great! I had the opportunity to photograph Claudia and Alex’s engagement photo session at the Japanese Friendship Garden in CSULB (Cal State University of Long Beach) about a month ago. This quirky couple wanted something from the norm, so we tried our best to deliver just that! Check it out!

We just had to include Claudia’s VW Bug in her wedding photos!

We took the wedding party to Hilltop Park in Signal Hill to capture the city of Long Beach in the background. Hilltop Park is a wonderful location to take any wedding party for photographs! The view was breathtaking!

We, Furious Photographers, have to live up to our name!

We had to take some wedding photographs with their beloved Bug!

This was one of the many images that were displayed during the reception at Ebell Club. It was entertaining to watch most of the guests turn their heads to figure out how this photograph was taken. =P
