Wedding Album Templates

Friday, November 7th, 2008

Hello,

Tofurious.com released Week 2′s wedding tool – Flush Mount Album Templates for Photoshop users.

There are 20 pages for free! Go download them and let us know what you think! Something to consider rather than the conventional order of business. Please do not ever bombard your poor bride with 800+ online pictures to go through. Rather, first give them something that is beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing [and already packaged] – album designs!

We discuss reasons why we only use square templates and how we go about letting our brides know. Read on here about flush mount album templates and how it changes your workflow.

Please enjoy this parody!

After many emails for me to share my theme – single column wordpress theme – I have decided to code one that is more user friendly and give it away for free!  This wedding photographer blog theme was probably made popular by Jessica Claire or other wedding photography titans.

I recently launched a new company – www.tofurious.com – to host all of my cool marketing and industry techniques. Every week, www.tofurious.com will be promote a new wedding photography idea.

Walk the Line | Lisa & Sam

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Hello,

I had the opportunity to photograph Lisa and Sam’s lovely wedding in the Fine Arts Building in Downtown Los Angeles. Lisa and the girls started their day at the Los Angeles Sheraton Hotel.

I love the craftsmanship of these rings!

Since Lisa’s hotel was walking distance to the Fine Arts Building, we took many urban street pictures along the way.

Lisa and I walked on the center line in the middle of a main street! Although we stopped traffic for this picture, it was well worth the risk!

Cake on Fire | Linda & Carlos

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Hello,

This wedding was a bit different compared to the other weddings I have photographed. The itinerary that Linda and Carlos sent me only had two events:

1. Preparation – Hotel Figueroa
2. Wedding – Marvimon (Los Angeles)

Anything can happen in between.

We started at Hotel Figueroa, which was AMAZING! Those who are fans of rustic architecture and designs would fall in love with this hotel. Linda reserved the Hotel Figueroa Casablanca suite. The name of this room explains itself. Check it out!

Carlos and I stumbled upon this cool looking garage door in back of the hotel.

Despite not having an itinerary for this wedding, everything went smoothly. Everyone at the wedding had fun, which was the most important aspect of any wedding celebration!

Over and out,

Doug
