Goldie and Mike’s wedding was hosted at Jason’s Downtown Restaurant in Santa Ana! There were so many fun filled photos taken during their Persian wedding.

Hello,

Goldie and Mike tied the knot a few weeks ago. They had a Persian style wedding. Goldie’s father explained to us the traditions and customs of a Persian wedding. As a wedding photographer, we always have these unique opportunities to learn about other cultures.

Goldie and Mike conducted their ceremony at home followed by a beautiful reception at Jason’s Downtown Restaurant and Wine Cellar in Santa Ana.

They have stellar food! Tang, who is not a fan of cooked fish, devoured his meal. Anyway, check out the pictures.

Goldie’s dog is super cute! I played with it all day. He was so soft and fluffy and fun to play with.

Friends and family members were cutting cheese for the crackers and ultra delicious cold cuts.

This is Goldie. Her friends found a Persian wedding magazine and found the picture to be so hilarious that we made her imitate it! LOL she did a rather good job at it.

There was obviously a lot more pictures of the reception, but I found that the following two epitomized the entire evening. :) Lots of spirits and dancing!

Leah and Eitan’s wedding was hosted in Nessah, Jewish temple in Beverly Hills. There were many lively wedding photos taken throughout the entire day.

Howdy,

Leah and Eitan did not meet for at least a month before their wedding because of distance and priorities.  Their union and reunion were filled with tears of joy.  Leah and Eitan had an Orthodox Jewish style wedding in the Nessah Synagogue in Beverly Hills.

It always looks fun to stand on top of each other until someone gets hurt =x Fortunately, no one did get hurt.

Special thanks to Arnold Zigman (father of Leah) for arranging this joyous event!

Cheston (my old wedding client) was nice enough to offer his amazing 350Z for one of my small wedding photography workshops for remote lighting. Check out these amazing night photos of his sweet ride!

What a night!

Last night I photographed my friend’s – Cheston aka Chestobot – Nissan 350Z. His vehicle was published in a number of magazines and raced professionally amongst other top import vehicles.

Check out his engagement and wedding pictures ;D Cheston and his wife are so cute! Hi Angie!

This is Cheston on his wedding day doing his famous stoic grandpa pose (we have one framed on our wall):

Gavin – and good friend – assisted us with the shoot (his blog post). A number of other photographers and cronies also rolled up to gawk at the blue monster.

To achieve the above picture, we used two Alienbee strobes and four Canon 580EX II strobes all on remotes! This was the largest lighting setup we have ever done. We would never have this much time on a wedding day.

Look at all of those stickers!

My favorite! Jason (Lil J) and I came up with this idea. We called this the “garage shot” because it looked like a vehicle was pulling out of a garage. To achieve this, we used two powerful strobes to light the front hood, which puts the background a few steps darker, thus blackening everything else.

Oh no! The LAPD! Nah they were pretty chill. They hung out with us for a while! He said that if we ever do photography in LA and run into any trouble with authority, just give him a call. *giddy*

Thanks Cheston and all those who came out!

Ablla and Casy tied their knot at Tustin Ranch Golf Course! Aside from watching out for fly balls, it was a pleasure to be their wedding photographer!

Hello,

Wow fourth post for the day! There will only be on more after this because I have to resume coding. We photographed Ablla and Casey a while back at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. The golf course was in – you guessed it – Tustin, CA (Orange County).

This little girl was really cute! She did not care to have her shoes put on so she just sat on the floor. What a little princess!

Here she hit exhaustion.

The mother of the bride was clearly content with what she saw – her beautiful Ablla ;D

With some time to spare, Doug and I took some pictures in Ablla’s kitchen. I am sure the family members thought we were crazy, but I like the shot!

Peace to everyone Vo_oV

Look at the boys! The Tustin Ranch Golf Club coordinator was so kind as to lend us some golf clubs. Sadly, we did not have softboxes with us, so we had semi-harsh lighting with three Canon 580EX II.

Midway during the reception, the guests were surprised with some Arabic dancers! Woohoo!

What?! People running around the room with real swords? Outrageous! LOL

It was our first time seeing Arabic dancers, so that made it extra cool. Thanks Ablla and Casey for sharing your day with us :)

Since Elizabeth and Juan used to study at Los Angeles Library together in high school, it was sentimental for their engagement photography session to take place here. Of course we kept our library voices at a low key during the engagement photo session to respect the other patrons!

Howdy,

I know this is out of order, but I meant to have posted this a couple of months ago! =x Anyway, Elizabeth and Juan opted to take their engagement pictures somewhere in Downtown Los angeles (LA). We ended up at the Los Angeles Central Library.

This one is my favorite! Elizabeth and Juan had this printed out on a 24″x36″ museum canvas ^_^ A nice canvas is something to consider for your reception.
