Los Angeles Wedding Photography Workshop
Hello,
For those who attended our second wedding photography workshop - good times! Our goals were to promote learning and community building. We had a total of 25 attendees (I think)! There were so many that it made my humble home look like a zoo of photographers.

Enjoy the pictures from our workshop! Since I do not have everyone’s cards, I will just share a few images from Doug’s camera. Before we begin with images of the hot models, here are some kudos to Peter for introducing the models, Gavin for helping out, and Julie and Angelina from All Made Up!
Here is a picture of Megan getting ready 
Doug was trying to show the class that a photographer can shoot in just about any location. This was taken at the stairs in our living room.
Do not deny it, he’s hot!
This goes equal for Megan! Thanks to Gavin for introducing this awesome location to us!
Remember, not all images must include faces as long as viewers clearly know who the subjects are or what they are intending to do.
This one was a tricky picture because Doug intentionally let light leak through to give Megan some nice hair light so proper calibration was crucial.
Shooting in the shade with minimal back lighting is always easy. Therefore, we discussed photographing in situations where lighting might not be as favorable. We had the models stand right in the middle of the street where there was no shade. The pose was simple after I asked a couple of questions. “Is there shadows under my face when looking at the sun?” “Am I squinting? If so, which way do you think might be better?” To compensate for back lighting, we showed them that they can either splash some light onto their faces or overexpose just a little. The following is me making that point.
Picture looks good, right? Keep it simple. As a photographer, we are always not given the best lighting conditions, so be prepared!

After years of not having a group photo, we took this opportunity to take a picture of the Furious Photographers team. Isn’t this an awesome picture? It was so hot wearing ties and sports coats in the afternoon heat. From left to right, we have Tang, me (Lawrence), Doug, Julie and Greg.
As much as I wanted to have a lesson on remote strobes, there simply was not enough time to cram it into our already packed schedule. After shooting, we returned to our home studio to learn about post-production techniques and marketing strategies.

Yes, thank you again for hosting the event. It was my first time in a photography “class” setting and I really learned a lot. I’ve only been talking with more experience friends over the internet, but I know the best way to learn is to be hands on and Furious Photography really did an amazing job (even though you guys only had a few hours of sleep).

All I can say is WOW about the photos….I cannot stop looking at the photos and how great our team did on the makeup and hair on the models…since you posted them a couple of days ago…I log online once a day to look at them! Big kuddos to the All Made Up Team Girls…Angelina and Julie for coming to the workshop and working on the models. I am so excited to work on the next workshop with everyone…thank you Furious Photographers for doing such a WONDERFUL job and hosting such a FABULOUS event!

Excellent workshop! I learned many, many, many coll things and tricks. Thank you again. You guys are my idols (don’t take it on the wrong way thou) Not only I admire your expertise and knowledge but your “Pay it forward” (movie) kind of attitude. It’s VERY hard to find people like you! The workhop was not only free but you guys provided refreshements and share many trade secrets. (This is very hard to get specially on this world of constant fear of competition) God bless all of you. And bring much more fortune and prosperity. Hope to keep in touch and let me know when you will have more of this workshops. And of course! Count on me if you need a back, back,backup photographer
Perhaps one day I’ll be 1/2 as good as you.
